What is Different Dog?
Different Dog is a UK-based company that creates freshly prepared dog food with human-grade ingredients. Their meals are designed to be healthy, wholesome, and tailored to your dog’s specific needs.
Unlike many commercial dog foods, which can be heavily processed and full of preservatives, Different Dog prides itself on offering 100% British beef, supple fish suppers, and other mouth-watering recipes that are cooked just like you would at home. This commitment to quality ingredients will give you confidence in the nutritional value of your dog’s meals.
Why Choose Different Dog?
There are plenty of reasons to switch to Different Dog. Here are just a few:
1. Freshly Cooked and Packed with Nutrients
Different Dog’s meals are freshly prepared, retaining more of the essential nutrients your dog needs. The brand’s recipes include options like sweet potato, kale, beetroot, cabbage, swede and cauliflower, alongside beef, pork, chicken, venison and lamb – all designed to cater to different dietary needs. These ingredients are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, promoting your dog’s overall health and well-being.
2. Perfect for Fussy Eaters and Sensitive Tummies
If you have a fussy dog or one with a sensitive tummy, Different Dog could be the solution you’ve been looking for. Many reviews from dog owners report that their pets absolutely love the taste, even if they’ve turned their noses up at other foods. Plus, the freshly cooked ingredients can be easier on sensitive stomachs.
3. Health Benefits You Can See
Dogs that switch to Different Dog often show noticeable improvements in their coat, skin, and overall health. Owners have observed changes in their dogs’ energy levels, a shinier coat, and even the resolution of issues like digestive problems. The fresh food is designed to enhance your dog’s well-being from the inside out.
4. Personalised Dog Food Tailored to Your Pet
Different Dog offers personalised dog food plans, so your dog gets exactly what it needs based on its size, age, and dietary requirements. This means that if your dog has specific dietary restrictions or health issues, the team at Different Dog will work with you to create a plan that meets those needs. You can be confident that your dog gets the best possible nutrition daily.
5. Delicious Treats to Complement Your Dog’s Meals
In addition to their freshly prepared meals, Different Dog also offers a fantastic range of treats that are perfect for rewarding your furry friend. These treats are made with the same high-quality, human-grade ingredients as their meals, ensuring your dog gets a healthy snack they’ll love. Whether it’s the tempting Fish Fingers or the mouth-watering Chicken Bites, there’s something to suit every dog’s taste. My dog Ivan particularly enjoys the Duck Jerky, which is delicious and great for his teeth and gums. These treats are a great way to add extra joy to your dog’s day while keeping their diet healthy and balanced.
Different Dog Food Reviews
Ivan has always been a picky eater, and finding something he genuinely enjoys has been a challenge. Since switching to Different Dog, mealtimes have become a whole new experience. He used to have issues with his sensitive tummy, but those have entirely disappeared since we made the switch. His coat has never looked better – it’s shinier and softer than ever. I can see the positive changes in his energy levels, and knowing he’s getting personalised, fresh dog food, tailed just for him, takes the stress of mealtimes.
What Do Customers Say?
Customer reviews for Different Dog are overwhelmingly positive, with many pet parents giving the brand high ratings for both the quality of the food and the excellent customer service. Here’s what some have said:
– My dog absolutely loves the Supple Fish Supper. I’ve never seen her so excited at mealtime!”
– Since switching to Different Dog, my dog’s sensitive tummy issues have completely disappeared. I’m so glad I found this brand.
– I noticed a change in my dog’s coat after just a few weeks on Different Dog. It’s so much shinier and healthier-looking.
How Much Does Different Dog Cost?
The cost of Different Dog’s meals varies depending on your dog’s size and the specific recipe you choose. However, the brand offers various plans, so you can find something that works for your budget. The price reflects the high-quality, freshly prepared ingredients, and the affordability of the plans will give you peace of mind about your pet’s nutrition.
Ivan’s personalised plan costs £56.18 every two weeks. He has 150g at each meal, which is a quarter of a pack, making each meal £2.01 or £4.02 per day.
The boxes arrive frozen, so you will need a little room in the freezer. The instructions say to defrost overnight in the fridge, but for us, it took two days to be free of ice. The cartons can be kept for five days. This convenient delivery service ensures you always have fresh, healthy meals for your dog, without the stress of last-minute shopping or meal preparation.
