Dyffryn Gardens has been awarded two pawprints, indicating that it’s a welcoming place for dogs. Dogs are welcome everywhere in the gardens except for the log stack play areas and the Glass House. The welcome centre, shop and Gardens Café all welcome dogs.

Your dog can explore most of Dyffryn Gardens with you. However, some indoor spaces, such as Dyffryn House and the Tropical Glasshouse, are off-limits to furry visitors. However, the expansive grounds provide plenty of room for roaming.
Dogs are required to be on a short lead throughout the gardens, ensuring that everyone, including families and other dog owners, can enjoy a relaxing visit. Your dog will still have plenty of space to enjoy, particularly on the lawn around the pond.

Dyffryn Gardens offers several playful attractions that kids will enjoy. The Log Stack and Wild Play Areas are fun, nature-inspired spaces where children can climb, balance, and explore.
